This method is called “Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle” by Tom Venuto. It is based on the simple philosophy that “Energy In versus Energy Out” determines if you are going to gain weight, lose weight or maintain your existing weight.
Many diet programs claim that “you can eat all you want and still lose weight”. Don’t believe it, you are being lied to. They say this to make it sound easier to follow the diet. But the truth of the matter, if you take in more calories than you burn, you are going to gain weight.
Tom’s program involves using exercise to help you lose weight. I know, I know, you don’t want to spend hours at the gym sweating away if front of a bunch of fit people that you don’t know. I understand, the though of showing up at a gym in sight fitting spandex is not something I want to do either (especially before I lost that 20 pounds). I also don’t want to spend hours working out, hey I’ve got a life too. I go to school, I have a job, I want to go and do things with my friends, I don’t have time to spend hours every day working out at the gym.
This is why I like this program. It doesn’t take a lot of time or specialized equipment. I can work out at home and don’t have to drive to gym. I don’t need a lot of expensive equipment.
Now I admit, I am not an exercise freak. In fact, I really don’t like to exercise, and almost didn’t try this. But all the diet pills, fat burners, and other crap just hadn’t worked for me. A friend of mine told me about this program and I’m glad she did. Because for the first time in forever, I am losing weight and feeling great.
